Why is there such evil in this world?
Families, cities torn apart by war
Why is there such heartbreak in this world?
Orphans, little boys and little girls, oh

It weighs heavy on me when I wonder why
But one day, it will be made right

When I get to Heaven, in Paradise
And I see Your eyes
I'll know I made it home
When I cross those gates, the finish line
And I see You smile
There will be tears no more

Break my heart for what is breaking Yours
Teach me how to love, despite the hurt, oh

It weighs heavy on me when I wonder why
But one day, it will be made right

When I get to Heaven, in Paradise
And I see Your eyes
I'll know I made it home
When I cross those gates, the finish line
And I see You smile
There will be tears no more

'Cause God is a Man of many sorrows
He stores up our tears in a bottle
He hears every prayer that we make
So I know, I know

When I get to Heaven, in Paradise
And I see Your eyes
I'll know I made it home
When I cross those gates, the finish line
And I see You smile
Oh, there will be tears no more
There will be tears no more

When I see Your eyes
When I see You smile
There will be tears no more
